This beautifully crafted set of four wingback Walnut Dining chairs was custom made for the Executive offices of Owens-Corning, attributed to Edward Wormley for Dunbar Furniture Co.. The chairs and their construction, materials hardware, and fasteners all have the earmarks of Dunbar furniture and it was confirmed by Owens-Corning that Edward Wormley was the interior designer for their Executive offices. The legs have the stylized Corning glyph carved and inlaid into the leg tips and were marked "Owens-Corning" on the original cambric. The chairs have been painstakingly restored, reglued and refinished. CONDITION DETAILS: Frames have been reglued and refinished. Original upholstery is worn and in need of replacement.
