Beautifully rendered set of eight Louis XVI style dining chairs with their original upholstery. The simply but handsomely adorned chairs have a minimum of carving aside from their fluted legs with a simple "X" rosette at the joint. The heavy construction and sprung seats of the chairs make them extremely comfortable for this style and not one of them has the hint of a wobble or a loose joint. Each chair has some small professionally done touchups. Top quality carving and construction.
